Safer sex means use a condom!

Condoms have been shown to be effective in preventing the transmission of the AIDS virus during intercourse. They are not totally foolproof, however, and many doctors recommend the use of lubricant containing nonoxynol-9 for extra protection.

Remember:

Use only latex condoms.

Put condom on when penis is erect.

Leave about one-half inch of space at the tip. Squeeze out the air.

Use only water-based lubricants.
